how to make gorgeous easter eggs

I need to add a quick pause to my Harry Potter Party goodness to share these Easter goodies (you know, before Easter). Stay tuned for more party goodness ASAP.

After our flower-y, beautiful (albeit a bit high maintenance) Easter egg success last year, we decided to take a similar approach to Easter eggs this year.

Except we got smart and grabbed a basketful of reusable chalkboard eggs to use as our ‘base.”

(Piper and I figured that if we were going to cut out all sorts of flowers from magazines and decoupage them to Easter eggs, we’d like to use them for more than one Easter!)

We used the same basic idea as last year’s floral Easter egg masterpieces- cut magazines flowers, decoupaged to eggs, let dry. Gorgeous right!?!

And better yet- ready for years of Easter decorating!
