creative gift wrap ideas- 8 ways to dress up a brown paper package

creative gift wrap ideas- 8 ways to dress up a brown paper packageWould you believe that almost all of my wrapping is finished already? Amazing what this year’s no-last-minute-gift-crafting has done for our December Crazy Level.

And since I have resolved not to buy any new gift wrap this year, our entire stack of gifts (so far) is wrapped in brown kraft paper and dressed up with things I’ve gathered from around our house (and that you could easily find at a craft store, or even a dollar store, if you don’t have them on hand).Β Here are eight fun ways to dress up a brown paper package-

3- Washi tape

6- Tinsel

8- Gold foil polka dot stickers

I have three or four more plain brown paper packages sitting under the tree- what would you add to those?

I did all washi tape on ours :).
    Jingle bells?
    Cinnamon dough cookies?
    Ornaments?
    Ribbon scraps?
    Fabric?

Oooh, love the fabric idea. Or I could do more washi tape… and I have quite the ribbon collection as well. πŸ™‚ Great ideas, friend.

Cute ideas! Maybe letting the kids put their handprints on the paper or just let them color or paint on it? Grandparents would love it!

These are beautiful!! And I love the December blog design!

Fabric! I’ve been using my scraps, anything with red looks incredible against the brown paper. Also have you done potato stamps? Or cookie cutters dipped in glue then stamped. Have fun. πŸ™‚

Thanks Erin- I got a new theme and figured why not redo while I’m reinstalling everything- haha! πŸ™‚
Also, great ideas! I love the cookie cutter one! And I’ll have to look through my scrap pile for red. πŸ™‚
