craft for christmas night 2010

December 24, 2010

What does it look like when 30+ friends get together to make handmade Christmas gifts? Between the pile of paper scraps and glue guns and yarn trimmings, it’s a

tea-licious

scrumptious

monogram-y

affair, complete with Christmas music and yummy snacks. Can I tell you how much I love this tradition?
How about you? Did you host or attend any sort of craft night this month?

I'm SO sad I missed this! Why do babies have to get sick when mommies have a fun night out planned?! You guys will have to post a tutorial sometime on how to do those yarn letters. They are adorable.

Hey there girls! Yes as a matter of fact I get together every month to sew a project. In November we sewed an apron then in December we wore our new apron to a cookie exchange. We'll start up in January with another sewing project…I might mention doing crafts too. Merry Christmas and thanks for all that you bring to us here in cyber world.

Inspired by your yarn letters, I created a similar-ish monogram gift of my own. The new post is going up at 4:15 p.m. mountain time. I linked back to this post.
