our world this week: kid portraits

While in Guatemala, the coolest thing we did was take pictures of kids for a sponsorship website. I loved every minute and the kids were so great at having pictures taken. A couple of tips for taking kid portraits would be:
1) Take your time and let them play! You will get better pictures if kids are just having fun and you are taking pictures than if you make them pose.
2) Change up the angle:get down on their level, get below and look up, get high and look low- try all different things!
3) Take lots of pictures! kids move around so much and their expressions are always changing- just snap away as much as possible.
