party food: dips and sauces

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Somehow (even with fabulous main courses) appetizers still seem to always to top the list of most requested recipes after a party. Some of my favorites:
basil pesto by tinctoria at recipezaarpumpkin pie dip by cooking light

artichoke tapenade by s’kat at recipezaar

And I saved the best for last- the oh-so-fabulous hummus recipe from my friends in Oman:MOST FABULOUS HUMMUS EVER
1 can of chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid)
1/3 cup of tahini
1/3 cup of lemon juice
2-3 cloves of garlic
garlic salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in the food processor. Blend until smooth, adding reserved liquid from the chickpeas as needed.

Happy dipping & saucing friends!
