around the house may: framed fabric panels

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

A repurposed window from an architectural salvage store, a frame that wasn’t being used, and some gorgeous fabric are now meshed together as a photo display in our living room. One thing I love about this project is that you can change out the pictures to keep things current. Oh and the little bits of handmade like the embroidered “people,” “places,” and “things” linen scraps and the fabric covered tacks delight my heart as I walk to and fro during the day.

Salvaged two pane window: $9.95
3 yards of fabric (from etsy): $18
Black frame: free (I found it in my basement and it wasn’t being used)
Photos: $6 (costco)
Linen scraps: free
Fabric covered tacks: $2.25 (for the covered button kit… the tacks and the fabric scraps I had laying around my craft room)

TOTAL COST: $36.20
