These socks-made-from-a-felted-baby-sweater are so darn cute that I might just visit a consignment store to find a baby sweater to felt (the garage sale market in january in denver is not quite what one might hope). Or I could felt one of burke’s sweaters? The tutorial by scarlette and cinnamon is pretty straightforward and the project itself looks really easy. She also mentions her inspiration- a book called, “Sweater Surgery: How to make new things with old sweaters.” Sounds like it’s right up my alley (as long as I can use regular felted sweaters… there aren’t many of the baby sweater variety around here). Darling winter goodness all around!
