(A step by step how to for putting together a gorgeous, easy and delicious Bruschetta Bar for easy entertaining).
With the holidays right around the corner and back to back guests on our docket (both of those are my favorite), I am in planning mode for all of our holiday entertaining.
My best case world for holiday entertaining is coming up with food and meals that I can prep before hand and not have to worry about during (to come alongside the ‘big’ meals that do take the whole day!).
This Bruschetta Bar fits the bill perfectly. It can be prepped entirely beforehand, it doesn’t have to be ‘maintained,’ (nothing to keep hot or cold!) and is SO YUMMY.
Even better- because of the multitude of options in this Bruschetta Bar, there is something for everyone is this one!
(Side note- I’m more of a sweet than savory person, and LOVE [like lovelovelove] these tart cherry bruschettas! If your crowd has a bunch of sweet tooth’s, you could totally make a plate of these to accompany your DIY set up!)
What to put in a Bruschetta Bar-
BASICS
Types of bread- toasted baguette, grissini, a variety of crackers
*If you are hosting a large group or people with dietary restrictions, it’s a good idea to add a label a gluten free or paleo option like cheese crisps or a veggie bruschetta ‘base’
SAVORY
Spreads- pesto, tapenade, bruschetta spread, goat cheese
Toppings- basil, different varieties of tomatoes, slices of hard choices, prosciutto
SWEET
Spreads- honey, nutella, nut butters, tart cherries, cream cheese, cookie butter
Toppings- berries, sliced fruit
Even as I type those options, I keep coming up with more ideas- the choices are sort of endless here!
