We are not low on delicious chocolate chip cookie recipes around here (we love this recipe, and this one for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and we LOVE this cowboy cookie recipe). However, we recently stumbled on a never-fail, always-yummy chocolate chip cookie recipe (and by stumbled upon, I mean one of our best friends from Saipan, who is now our neighbor in San Antonio because we are the luckiest, brings this to every social event and she gave me the recipe).
It feels like a public service to pass this along. Especially in the season of cookie exchanges.
INGREDIENTS
2 sticks butter
3/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp Mexican vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups flour
1 package chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Cream together sugar and butter. Add in eggs and vanilla. Then add flour + salt + baking soda. Batter should be pretty thick. Bake on the cookie sheet for 10+ minutes.
Share. Or don’t. YUM.
