I am kind of a slow learner. I discover something that makes a giant difference for my overall wellbeing, and if it doesn’t become a daily habit, I kind of forget about it. Then, I am somehow reminded of that game changer and happily take it back up.
That’s how it goes for me with flavored detox waters. I love these, y’all. Drinking enough water makes such a giant difference in the way I feel. And putting yummy fruit and herbs in my water makes me drink so much more water (plus, I always read about the detoxing abilities of the various add-ins).
Since I’m currently back on the detox-water-train (though, of the tropical variety), I thought I’d share. Perhaps some of you are slow learners like me and this will remind you of just how much better you feel when you drink more water?
My favorite detox water combinations this winter? Starfruit and mint, dragon fruit and basil, and what I like to call ‘citrus medley’ (any combination of orange, lemon, grapefruit and lime)- so refreshing!
Also, as a side note, if you can find dragon fruit, it’s my favorite by far. And it turns your water a pretty pink hue as a bonus.
