December is nuts around here (for you too?)!
No matter how much advance planning I do, or how early start of a start I get, there is always a little bit of December chaos.
One of my favorite holiday-simplifiers is having gift cards on hand, just in case (and sometimes as my first choice- at least for the people in my life, including my husband, that really love gift cards).
Using a pretty faux bois printable gift card envelope as the wrapping for said gift card is the perfect way to add a little touch of handmade to the standard gift card (and you all know how the intersection of beauty and function is my favorite place to be).
My new Canon PIXMA printer comes through once again for this project- making my life prettier, easier, and a little less chaotic.
Just print the faux bois gift card envelope, cut, fold on the dotted lines, tuck a gift card inside, and seal with a sticker.
The result (besides a happy recipient?)- a little teeny bit of December chaos mitigated.
These are great! A little something handmade that is easy to do. We have one of those fancy cutting machines but nothing beats some quick cutting with scissors. Thanks for mitigating some of our December chaos!
Sure, of course! 🙂
I love this idea! Where did you get the printable from?
