hanging favor display board

August 5, 2010

What’s a party hostess to do when every possible table surface is being used for food, drinks and other assorted and assundary party goodnesses, but there are still fabulous favors to display?  Hang those favor-ish gems up, that’s what to do!

First find (and paint, if you please) a rectangle of peg board.  My rectangle was about bulletin board sized.  Use ribbon or rope to hang your peg board a little above eye level.  I hung mine from our pergola.

Use hooks, little candle jars and, of course, rows of favors to adorn your favor board.  This works particularly well for paper items like our recipe booklet favors.

Be very proud of your ingenuity (and thankful that you didn’t have to haul another side table into your back yard for a party favor display!).

This is such a cute idea. I'll be planning an outdoor baby shower soon and this would be perfect!
