Printable Mother’s Day cards for all the moms/grandma’s/moms-to-be/lovely women you know

I have lived an ocean away from at least part of my family for the last fifteen years, but I’ve NEVER felt quite so far away, and quite so homesick, as I have during the corona-crazy (closed borders and cancelled summer trips to the States make me feel FAR and homesick)!

Which makes sending a heartfelt note tucked into a cute Mother’s Day card at the top of my list for this week.

(Ok, true confession- the mail service isn’t really working reliably right now, so I will be sending pictures of our heartfelt notes and cards… it’s more about the gesture than the details right?)

In case you are needing a cute printable Mother’s Day card for your extra thoughtful note as well, I thought I’d share the downloads on the blog!

(There are a couple colorways for both versions of Mother’s Day cards- both are available in each download so just print the one you like best.)

grazing platter for mother’s day brunch

brunch grazing platter for Mother's Day

What better time to work on perfecting my current favorite trend- THE GRAZING PLATTER – than during quarantine, while everyone is home 24-7 and our kitchen basically rivals the Great British Baking Show for flour usage. And this extra pretty, baked-goods-heavy, fruit filled Mother’s Day brunch board was a great place to start. (To be […]

DIY projects to try (with supplies you have on hand!)

Pretty projects to try while you are at home

This week, New Zealand went into COVID-19 lockdown/quarantine/shelter-in-place/stay-at-home, joining what seems to be almost the whole world hunkered down, staying home. And even though there aren’t quite words for the difficult parts of all of this, for those hardest hit, nor enough gratitude for the people who are putting themselves at risk to help those […]

gorgeous dessert grazing platter (in ombre sunrise colors)

sunrise palette dessert grazing platter

Grazing platters and grazing tables are an idea I can really get behind- I love ‘snack-y’ foods and dips and these platters just seem like bigger scale charcuterie boards. But dessert grazing platters? Those deserve my next-level affection. A gorgeous tray filled with a huge variety of bite sized desserts and treats? Um, yes please. […]

This week is both teacher appreciation week and Mother’s Day and these gorgeous (AND EASY) wrapped bouquets are the perfect gift for both. And they’re so easy to put together! Just grab a couple of bunches of pretty flowers (Trader Joe’s is my favorite for this!), cut squares of floral gift wrap, place a mason […]

how to make gorgeous easter eggs

how to make gorgeous floral easter eggs

I need to add a quick pause to my Harry Potter Party goodness to share these Easter goodies (you know, before Easter). Stay tuned for more party goodness ASAP. After our flower-y, beautiful (albeit a bit high maintenance) Easter egg success last year, we decided to take a similar approach to Easter eggs this year. […]

how to make rifle paper inspired felt flowers

how to make Rifle Paper Co. inspired felt flowers

I love Rifle Paper Co., y’all. I love the Rifle Paper Co. FABRIC and their city prints and their gift wrap (and did I mention their fabric?). SWOON. I also love felt flowers (ok DIY flowers of all kinds, but I have a special place in my heart for flowers made out of fabric). I’m […]

teacher appreciation gift printables

free teacher appreciation printables

I have such a special place in my heart for teachers. Not only did I used to be one (and thus know just how challenging AND rewarding that job can be), we also have somehow lucked out with a running streak of awesome teachers for the kids. I hope they know they’re appreciated all year […]
