Our church has a children’s craft day called Hands On Christmas. My best handmade present was a church magnet that my granddaughter made when she was 5. I cherish it.
My dad let me keep the quilt he made with his Grandma as a teenager. Not an official Christmas gift or anything, but it is one of my most treasured things!
So many beautiful quilts from my mom and knitted hat from my sister. I especially loved the knitted cupcake hat and mittens for my eldest daughter when she was born.
I made a package of goodies for my family to enjoy.
The best homemade gift was a quilt done by my grandmother. It was so very old and she stitched it by hand. I love making blankets for my family and now I have 3 to make. One for my grandson and one for each of my great nieces. WOW, am I going to need this new sewing machine and fabric to do that.
