pink, summery mojito barThe best part of Katie’s girly, pink baby shower (well, Sip ‘n See) was gushing over Baby Niah and her new wardrobe (baby girl clothes are just so darn cute!). But a close runner up was the Mojito Bar!

mojito bar drink stationTo put this Mojito Bar together, the night before the shower we made four pitchers of mojitos (we used this blueberry mojito recipe for the first pitcher, then subbed in strawberries and raspberries for the blueberries to make two more pitchers… for the fourth variation we just used limes). The next morning we strained out the mint and added more fresh mint.

pink, summery mojito barThis little bar hit the trifecta of party perfection- delicious, beautiful, and a huge hit with the guest of honor and her guests. I can’t wait to put together another one soon!

Also, total sidenote, these pictures make me miss Denver so much (we threw this shower just a couple days before I left!). Moving away from such a special place is not for the faint of heart.

  1. The ruffle backdrop turned out FABULOUS! And you know what mama says “If it isn’t hard to leave, you weren’t doing it right.” 🙂 One day, you’ll feel the same way when you leave Saipan. Love you sis.

    1. Haha, I can totally hear mom’s voice saying this as I read it. And I guess from the amount that we miss everyone that we were really doing it right (hahahaha!). 🙂
And isn’t the backdrop fun??? Whoa labor intensive, but so fun!

  2. We were inspired by your tuna burgers and made a seared ahi salad the other day with some mountain apples thrown in—yum! Thanks for a great idea!

    1. Claire, so fun to see your name on here! Absolutely making ahi salad soon- great idea! And, you’ll laugh, we’re making tuna sliders again tonight- hahaha. We had some tuna in the fridge that we needed to use up. Funny.

  3. How did you make the sign or did you purchase it; I am trying to get some ideas for a wedding sign on our signature drink…thanks!
