I have such a treat for y’all today- a $100 Shabby Apple Gift Certificate giveaway!

If you’ve read kojodesigns for very long, you know about my love affair with dresses. I love the convenience of just having one article of clothing plus accessories to make an outfit that looks fairly put together. And Shabby Apple‘s site is chock full of dress goodness (I especially love the Set Sail and Twin Palms collections right now)!

For my review dress, I chose the Toe the Line Chambray Shirt Dress (after some serious deliberation- give a girl like me that many dress choices and indecision abounds). I was hoping to find a shirtdress that I could wear to church, a backyard barbeque, and a baby shower.

And this one fits the bill! I love the way it creates a girly silhouette (even for a girl like me that doesn’t have many curves). Also, the chambray is perfectly summer-y! The only bummer is that it doesn’t come with the white belt from the pictures. Luckily, there is an easy fix- today you’ll find me making a white sash during nap time. In the meantime, my go-to wooden belt is a great placeholder.

Don’t you think this dress would be so cute with an orange and gold jewelry? Or red heels? Or preppy espadrilles? The versatility is just fantastic.

  72. I truly adore the Spanish Steps Cream Flower Applique Dress, but I need a dress for my rehearsal dinner. We are having 1920’s themed wedding so I would probably apply my certificate to the Eclat #28 Shift Dress with Satin Sash at Hips.

  93. Oh man Shabby Apple has so many good dresses it was hard to narrow down! I think my favorite is L.A. from the Tinsel Town collection though anything from Twin Palms clones in at a close second 🙂
