a little SNAP and a big thank you

I might’ve mentioned once or twice that I love the creative community… and I do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought- I wish I could just have a craft night with Heidi, and Jess, and Kate, and Lori, and Rach, and Ashley, and Hildie, and Amy, and Jennifer, Jamie and Jodie, and Gwen, and Jamielynn, and Linda, and Camille and Elyse, and Liz and Elizabeth, and Alison, and Summer, and Kiki, and the Crafting Chicks, and Tam, and Kristyn. And then maybe a little photo shoot with Kristen. And some party planning with Sara and Michelle and Brittany and Kendra.

And then I went to SNAP and met these amazing ladies (and that’s not even my whole list). In real life. Pinch me! I have to tell you, these girls are even more gorgeous and gracious and classy and creative than you’d ever imagine. And I loved every minute of hanging out with them (also, did you see on twitter or facebook that I WON an iPad? Yep! Lucky me!).If I could sum up my big SNAP ‘takeaway,’ though, it’d be how thankful I am for all of YOU. It’s funny- as I talked to amazingly successful women running fabulous handmade businesses, I realized that I am definitely not ready to have a shop or a product. And as I heard about the work that goes into writing a book, I was more certain than ever before that I am not up for that in this season of life (not that I was considering it before- haha!).

Seriously, the thing that I realized over and over again was that I love this space of ours… I love interacting with you… and I am pretty sure, nope, absolutely certain, that we have the best readers on the planet.

So thanks for stopping by, for reading, for your comments and emails, for making this such a great little place. I am so grateful I had a chance to attend SNAP. And I am so thankful for y’all!

ps- Do you recognize any of the lovely ladies in my picture? Aren’t they too cute for words?
