more fun for the postman

Another idea for spicing up your outgoing mail?  Use a 12×12 patterned piece of paper as your envelope!  I just fold the patterned paper around whatever I’m sending (well, as long as what I’m sending isn’t super tall so that I don’t have to pay the extra postage), hot glue the edges, hot glue the ‘flap’ down (in all of the hot gluing, make sure you only glue the patterned paper and don’t let the glue touch your correspondence), and stick on an address label (the label was readable when I sent it, I promise).  Super simple and oh-so-fun for your recipient… especially if it means your recipient gets a bright, spring-y pattern like the one above and she’s as sick of February and snow as I am- haha!

Happy mail brightening, friends!
