I love everything about handmade Halloween costumes… I love it that you can tailor the costume to the kid, I love it that you add a fabulous costume to your dress up chest, I love dreaming up group theme costumes, I love the process of making costumes… I just love them.

However, this year, Burke will be gallivanting around on October 31st as a (darn cute!) monkey courtesy of Old Navy. Actually, our playgroup had a little Halloween shindig this morning, so said Old Navy costume has already made it’s debut. Just thought you should know.

Love Your little Monkey costume! I agree that homemade seems so much better due to the customization and all the possibilities (sp?) that the stores dont have. Here is the costumes I made for my little munchkins this year! http://kindylynn.blogspot.com/2009/10/halloween-is-almost-here.html
