the best (free) skinny fonts

April 10, 2013

the best free downloadable skinny fontsAfter I shared my favorite scripty fonts, I started thinking about my other favorite non-scripty fonts (there are so many, y’all!). And then, over the last month, and after tons of font related emails, I thought I’d keep this favorite-font party going. Today I rounded up my favorite skinny fonts for you (well, the top of my favorites list at least).

Row 1- Matilde, Blanch, Elsie’s Alphabet

Row 2- Pablo, KG Call Me Maybe, Ribbon

Row 3- Code Light, Mossy, Ostrich Sans

Row 4- Combustion, Champagne & Limousines, Mensch

Row 5- Muncie, Arvil Sans, RB No. 2

Did I miss any good skinny fonts? Please share! Also, any requests for font ‘themes’ for the next installment?

nice roundup! skinny fonts are some of my fave too. i am pretty smitten with Frenchy and also enjoy Hand of Cre. but they both also crossover as handwritten fonts, which are my absolute fave lately. maybe that should be a future roundup?

    xoxo

Off to check those out- I am digging handwritten fonts lately too!
And I am TOTALLY taking you and Ruth (who doesn’t know who I am, but I LOVE her blog and want to be her friend) up on the Garduno’s idea next time I’m in Albuquerque.
In the meantime, if you guys need a little Rocky Mountain vacation, come to Denver! We have a guest room and space in the basement for kiddos (and have all sorts of favorite Margarita spots to share). 🙂
