Hi friends! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, we have been out of town. ย Did I mention that my 30th birthday was at the end of July? It was. And it was awesome. First- Kirst, my bestie, and my husband collaborated together to do a 30 Days of Love for me (30 presents from 30 people the 30 days before I turned 30). Y’all- you have to do this for people you love! It was SO fun to get a little something and an encouraging note everyday for a month from people I love! It is just the best way to make someone feel celebrated.

As if that wasn’t enough, my husband planned an amazing 5 day trip without kids to Prague with a quick stopover in Istanbul! Prague has been at the top of my list for quite some time and it did not disappoint.

Istanbul:

Prague:

We had a wonderful time and came home refreshed (and missing our kids terribly) and I just felt so thankful to have such a wonderful birthday with my best friend.ย It has been a great month of ushering in a new decade and I am excited for everything the 30’s hold! Happy weekend, everyone!

p.s. don’t forget to enter the Southern Fabric Giveaway!ย

Wow! What a fantastic birthday and hubby! The one picture looks a little like Budapest, which is my favorite city. I’ve never been to Prague. I hope to get there someday. Happy Birthday!

I hate that for you! I was super sick with both pregnancies- yuck! We share your travel love (both Jord and I)… here’s to 40 being somewhere exotic and fabulous.
