guess what…

…I am working on today?

Angry bird goodness (Piper has been walking around saying, “Angee Tweet Tweet” all morning- ha!)…

…and graduation announcements and party invites!

I love birthdays and birthday parties (though, I’m not sure how I feel about my baby boy turning 4- that just seems so big).

And I can’t adequately describe how excited I am for graduation. The funny thing is, I didn’t even attend my own grad school graduation (we were already on a graduation trip). But this graduation, and the amount of life that it represents, is monumental.

I know many of YOU and your husbands have done (or are currently doing) grad school/med school/residencies/dental school- were you/are you so excited for graduation?

What are you working on today?

It’s not just husbands who graduate from med school and residency…

I’m an MD and I love your blog… I’m currently working on the GEMS dress pattern from one of yours or someone else’s sponsors.

I was absolutely tickled when my husband graduated with his Master’s degree but he did not want a celebration (same thing happened when he graduated with his B.S.) He was just happy to be done with school as he had been balancing college, work, and a family. Now my “baby” boy is about to graduate high school and wants to keep the celebrating at a minimum (or not at all!) But that is definitely NOT going to happen!! I love your invites!!

Congratulations, Adam!! and Kirsten as I know how much it affects the whole family!!

I think Adam would’ve been great with something more subdues as well- but no way! There are too many days and hours of work to not have a party at the end. ๐Ÿ™‚
Congrats to your son- how exciting!!!

    Oooh an angry bird party…sweet!
we are both done with our studies but given the amount of effort it takes…you have all the reasons to be excited. I was just reading Ashley’s ( Make It and Love It) thoughts on the subject and it seems like husband’s graduation is an achievement for the whole family. Congratulations to you all.

Haha- I’ll have to head over to Ashley’s and see what she said. She and I have commiserated before on the husband-student chaos. ๐Ÿ™‚ I bet they’re so excited too!

I’m very excited for my husband’s graduation in the Fall(B.A.)! I’ve already told him that I’m going to throw him a big party, just need to decide on a theme ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m working on ruffled streamers for our Cinco De Mayo party. I’m following this tutorial: http://www.danamadeit.com/2011/05/tutorial-ruffled-streamers.html

i may, or may not, be still obsessively planning the berry birthday brunch (thank you again for sharing!).

seriously, your invites? and printables in general? to die for! someday, you must do a post on them. what kind of cardstock do you print on?

Dayna, you make me laugh! Can’t wait to see the berries!
And I love the post suggestion- definitely. Until then, I love Neenah’s cardstock (they carry it at our local Xpedex, but I think you can get it online too!). I also really love Crane’s cotton paper, but it is kind of finicky in the printer (though, worth it). ๐Ÿ™‚
You are always such a sweet voice of encouragement- THANK YOU! ๐Ÿ™‚
