kojo tutorial- fabric backed business cards

Hey friends! After the craziness of SNAP plus the Sewvivor finale, things are s-l-o-w-l-y resuming to normal around here again (well, I have a quite the swag bag to unpack, a bunch of pink and green sewing remnants to clean up and a cold sore from taking on too much and not getting enough sleep, but we’re headed towards normal at least).

As I try to get things in order, I thought I’d share a little SNAP-y tutorial with you!

Since I made some fabric backed business cards to take with me last weekend (and since they were such a hit), I thought I’d show y’all how to make them.

First print pages full of business cards. Then cut down to business card size. Round the corners with a corner rounder. Add a decent amount of glue (from one of those big, extra strength, scrapbook-ish glue sticks) to the back of each business card. Press fabric that is a little larger than your card onto the glue. Smooth flat with a card (yep, that’s my annual zoo pass that you see). Using sharp fabric scissors, trim the excess fabric from the edges.

Done! Business cards with fabric on the back- so fun.

Also, want to meet up sometime and have one big ol’ craft night (or photo session or some party planning brainstorming)? How can we make that happen? Any ideas?

  3. I was at SNAP too and was embarrassed by my sad little cards! I saw so many inspiring ones but I think this is my favorite! I’m sorry we didn’t bump into each other!

    1. So true! You can just find all of your cute scraps and then your business cards match all of your recent projects as well! 🙂

  4. Do you know of anyone that could make these for me…for those who are not quite the DIY crafters? I am so in need of these. Obsessed. Please advise if you have any info or direction.

    Thank you for your consideration

    1. Hey Renee- this made me laugh. You could do check on etsy- I think there is an option to request services and artists give you bids…
