hi I’m kirstin…

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

… and I have a slight addiction to children’s books.

Also, I cannot seem to refuse vintage kid’s books.

Those fabulous illustrations get me every time.

Seriously.

Can’t get enough.

This little collection of vintage goodnesses is part of an upcoming project (any guesses?).

A couple other sneak peeks at projects that are in the works around here? There’s a reclaimed wood project (you can see a little peeking out from behind the books) that should be up next Tuesday.

And that pop of royal blue in the background was a project inspired by a West Elm Catalog. It should also be on the blog soon. Also, the Smoochies’ faces in this picture make me laugh out loud. Burke’s offense? He tried to kiss Piper Jane and share his book with her. Drama girl.

Also, I keep getting packages full of be.aut.i.ful fabric (courtesy of the lovely sponsors of So You Think You Can Sew- the Joel Dewberry pictured above is from the Fabric Shoppe and the bundle of goodness below is from Raspberry Creek Fabric). I am just itching to make a little dress for Piper Jane. Wouldn’t that royal blue be the perfect backdrop for some dress pictures?

Any thoughts or suggestions for coordinating Easter ensembles using my new fabric (a dress for Piper Jane plus something-TBD for Burke)? What are you working on right now? Anything using books, reclaimed wood or gorgeous fabric?

    1. Love that! I hadn’t ever seen it before- I found it in a pile of vintage books at a thrift store. But there’s always room in my heart for new books to love. 🙂
Let me know if you don’t find it and (after Feb 25) I’ll send it your way! 🙂
