on my Christmas wish list this year…

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

My birthday is in December, which translates into having to make an extra long wish list around now each year… I have a few ideas and need your help, too.
On my wish list so far:

1. Subscriptions to ReadyMade, Martha Stewart Weddings and Real Simple magazines… how I love them.
2. A yoyo maker.

3. Fabric… yards and yards of fabric. Some of the pattens I’ve asked for? Joel Dewberry’s Antler Damask, Anna Maria Horner’s Fortune, Joel Dewberry’s Pine and Patty Young’s Hive.  Oh, and anything from Amy Butler’s Lotus line… I love every print in that one!
4. An around the page punch by Martha Stewart.
Fun so far, right?
Here’s where I need your help.  I’d like to ask for a sewing book… but all of them look so fantastic and I just don’t know which one would be best.  I think I’ve narrowed it down to Weekend Sewing by Heather Ross, One Yard Wonders by Rebecca Yaker and Seams to Me by Anna Maria Horner, but am also open to recommendations.  Any thoughts y’all?
Also, what’s on your Christmas list?  Any ideas to add to my wish list?

  1. Oh no! If you really want Ready Made magazine, please save yourself a huge headache and purchase it in store. I had a magazine subscription last year and had to repeatedly phone to find out where my issue was. In two instances, the issues never arrived at all! Their customer service leaves much to be desired! I decided I would not renew my subscription – eventhough I had purchased it with points from MyCokeRewards.com.

  2. What kind of sewing book do you want? Do you want a book of projects, or a book that tells you all about how to sew? The 2nd kind is nice b/c then you can kind of figure out how to do just about anything (or at least where to start). But of course the 1st is fun, too.
