too much?

Easy-to-follow tutorials with fabulous results are bad news for me, guys. When I find one, I just want to make more and more and more of the ‘fabulous results.’ In this case, those glorious little numbers by little jenny wren (the fabric pinwheels that she made into hair clips) are taking over my craft room. I dream up places to put them… purses and onesies (do you think they’re washable? probably not, right?) and Christmas stockings (I seriously can’t wait to try that out… I’ll show you when I do).

And of course, I attached a few of them to snaps and put them on my Juju shoes. Which brings me to the question of the hour- on the shoes, are they too much? Usually, I don’t really care about the opinions of the general public as they relate to my fashion choices. But I think that I am so enamored by the idea of being able to snap something on and off of my shoes that my judgement might be clouded. So I need your help- fabric pinwheels for the Juju shoes or not?

Oh yeah, and I already wore the blue ones around the mall and the orange ones to playgroup, so be honest but don’t be too harsh, ok? Thanks.

  1. I'm kind of loving the pinwheels on the shoes…. mostly because they are a little different and unique but not TOO out there. Great idea!!! You might want to add them to your juju shoe charm choices 😉

  2. Haha! You're too funny! I love them! I would totally wear the pinwheels. I know what you mean though, I get so obsessed with things that I can't even tell if I'm normal or not. :o)

  3. I like the pinwheels. Glad to know that I am not the only crafter who bought her kids' their costumes. I made a chef taupe to go with one of them though (I think that is what they are called.

  4. Is it obsessive to post more than one comment on the same post?!

The yo-yo necklaces are the creation of Markelle Carter (her maiden name is Foutz)…she is Kyle's age and played soccer for FHS so I know Adam, and probably Kedron, knows her! She is a doll!
